Village Ambassadors
“It takes a village to raise a child” is an African proverb that means that an entire community of people must interact and collaborate with children for those children to experience and grow in a safe and healthy environment.
SawaAfrica's work in the rural communities of Western Kenya continues to grow and change the destiny of many children and families. Many children are going hungry with only one or no meal daily, no access to basic health care, water and education. Our goal is to reach 1000 school age children in the next 2 years with sustainable holistic care.
We can create a greater impact but only with the help of more partners. As the African proverb says “It takes a village to raise a child”, we have an opportunity for you to be part of SawaAfrica Village. Be a part of this community that can raise more children in rural Western Kenya. We need you!
